2016 Bangalore Calendar
Design of a A0 size print calendar for year 2016 for Bangalore city.
The first thing that employees do when a year starts, is to open the list of holidays to figure out the holidays that lie close to a weekend, so that they can plan for a long weekend. This calendar makes it easy to do just that :)
Having taken a MOOC on Data Visualization, I played around with different ways to represent the following: How country's share to world's GDP have changed over the years. How to represent GDP, and it's various parameters and compare with Population, Area and various Social, Economic and Human Development Indicators.
A responsive website was prototyped using the selected visualisations.

Being an Interaction Designer, I always wanted to do something fun - something beyond screens. Spent a few days exploring options like OpenNI, Microsoft SDK, FAAST, NETLab toolkit etc. Finally used Processing, Simple Open NI library and created a simple dance installation for NID Bangalore's annual cultural fest. Matched the visuals to the theme of the fest.
Set it up again at IndiaHCI 2015 conference. This time incorporated a way for users to navigate through the conference's schedule using arm gestures.
